Paris la Nuit (Weekend Reflections # 323)

Paris, France                      Hotel du Louvre Reflected

Looking through a shop window I saw a statuette of a girl with her head bowed and arms to her side while blowing a horn.  Then, happily, I noticed that she was surrounded by reflections!

Happy Reflecting !

She's like an angel...playing as she watches over the city. I love it when you take me back to Paris!

That is not good for that girl's teeth! Neat reflection, however!

Reflections in the night is what I miss in the city, for there are so many more than in the country. Oh, by the way James, I appreciated your reply after the Paris attack - you gave me something to think about!

I'm struggling with the idea of blowing a horn with your hands to your side. that means you have to hold the horn in your teeth every time you breath ... hmmm.

But really, James, an angelic figure looking over a city that is still suffering from loss. Beautiful and thoughtful ...

This image is kind of ghostly. But then, I've just blogged about the Christmas devil, Krampus. And then I noticed a slight reflection of him on the radiator, so I'm taking a chance and sending it to Weekend Reflections. Happy St. Nicholas Day on Sunday!

Like a quiet angel crossing the scene.

That's a very unusual pose for the statuette and the reflections seem to be coming from every direction.

I was more interested in the little statuette. She looks like being made of clouds :)
